Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II cast his vote at Presidential election this morning at Krtsanisi voting precinct. After making his choice, he blessed the ballot box.
Before leaving the precinct, he told journalists:
“God bless Georgia. I hope that everything will be fine, and Georgia a will be a happy and blessed country.”
Citizens of Georgia are electing their fifth President today. This is the last time the President is elected through direct balloting.
